Happy Heebie Jeebie Scissors

Smoke Gown from Blue Couture for the Scissors Happy Hunt
Animated Spooky Mirror from Living Vintage Southern.

It's the weekend, Kathy was bored, so she went hunting - hoping for something new and Halloweenie, so she chose the Scissors Happy Hunt where prizes are 1 Linden. Here she shows off the feathery goodness of the Smoke Gown from Blue Couture and Kathy indicates for Lludmila (who isn't allowed any more clothes) the Spooky Mirror with the animated image (Charon's Coin hunt). Once at Blue Couture, do not, do not leave without checking out the other hunt gifts because:

Pas de Blah

LIKE Design Zein dress -
could use some panties!

Cuoricini parure from WTB and
necklace from KL Couture

Sweet Treats short dresses in Sherbet, Cotton Candy,
and Pistachio from JK Style

There are some freebie/dollarbie gifts at the LIKE Sales Room at OH! LIKE blah.BLAH.blahh Shopping Village. There was also a group gift nearby, but poor Lludmila is maxed out on groups and Annthrasite is having rebake issues. [Last seen she was all grey with prim hair.]

However, while wandering around, Lludmila found this really nice texture change mesh dress as a My 60L Secret offer at JK Style. It comes with the long strand of pearls that go down the back.

Six outfits for 60L!

Newness

Black Mirror hair in Nightingale
Off shoulder peasant top and corset
Persefone skin

Annthrasite recently took in a load of goodies. Several hunts are going on at FashioNatic, little bones is relentlessly sending out group gifts, and YS & YS has a new skin as a group gift.
Again, it's really worthwhile to stick with a shop's group, even if they're free to join.

Pink Slim Wrap dress
Black Mirror hair in Mousse

YourSkin & YourShape group gift, Persefone skin in earth tone.

little bones group gift, Black Mirror hair in Mousse and in  new color: Nightingale. Two other colors included.

FashioNatic Forbidden Apple Hunt gift, off the shoulder peasant top with corset (1L) and pink wrap dress from the Dark Lady hunt (1L).

Fat strap sandals, not free, from Baby Monkey. I think they were discontinued, but be sure to check out the fat packs upstairs. Bargains galore! Fat packs for 50L! Annthrasite is still standing in the middle of them, having a nervous breakdown!

Well, THIS Isn't Going to Help!

Lotus bikinis for 1L

Lludmila always complains about the size of her inventory and so she might possibly collect some freebies, photograph them, and then delete them.  So, she thought she'd pick up this box of Lotus bikinis dollarbie* and maybe keep one of them.  After all, she loves purple, black goes with everything, oh the peacock is nice, but red just isn't her - oh, that's nice too, well at least the orange will be - oh.  In the end she only discarded the white one.  These bikinis get the Unslutty and Undead Seal of Approval for coverage.  No buttcrack, no pubes.  So much for keeping the inventory under 42K.

Yellow lion, butterfly net, red panda tiny av

Not far away are more free freebies (ha ha ha!): a red or a yellow lion costume (be sure to wear clothes underneath, but you might lose an attachment or two), a butterfly net that emits butterflies after you click on the ground, and this really, really cute red panda av.

Red panda here and yellow lion at the nearby temple.
Butterfly net here as well as a ton of other stuff that's free as well as some great musical instruments (including a Theramin!) that aren't free, but don't you need them anyway?

It's All Gone Quiet Over There

Here's someone I haven't heard from in a while: Dany French Touch. I was collecting my freebies, going from one advent location to another, when I caught sight of the landmark for DFT in my inventory.  If you're new to SL (or just a total cheapskate, like I am), you can go here and pick up a wealth of interesting outfits for just one Linden each.  Just look at this wall:
View of the Dollarbie Wall at Dany French Touch

There are about nine outfits for men and a dozen for women, both modern and historic.  Even the full price outfits on either side are only 150L!  And I was sorely tempted by that peachy colored one on the far right until I noticed that there are some of these dollarbies I haven't worn in a while.  Dang, that Mona outfit is cute and that's just sitting in my inventory!  The Constellation dress is something that when I wear it, I get loads of compliments.  And I love the Melissandre, a period outfit that piques the imagination: little match girl? governess? Les Misérables?  These are not cookie-cutter patterns stamped out and mass-produced in various colors, but individual textures designed and assembled with care.  Check out this store, if you haven't been there - even for a while.  If nothing else, it will remind you of great stuff in your inventories you haven't worn in a while.

By the way, that box at the bottom is the tip jar.

Update: It is so sad that Dany French Touch is no more. We miss you!
