Not Creepy At All
Our favorite zombie Lludmila is busy running her little undead legs off at Octoberville (and muttering "I Hate Octoberville ... I Hate Octoberville ..." over and over although she doesn't seem able to quit), so Kathy has stepped up to the plate to show off this week's free and unslutty offerings:
This week The White Armory ensures that you are not only gorgeous, but your bits and pieces are protected in this creation in bronze and pewter blue.
Kiss of the Spider Woman from Paris Metro. Unslutty tip: Either wear a slip or don't stand in front of a light source.
Falling Slowly hair for the Autumn Hunt (look for the pumpkin!) from [Shag]. Also pick up the free pose at the front of the store (which is somewhat slutty, so not shown here ... besides, it requires, hemm-hemm, two avs). Included is a no-bangs version.

New Hair and Jeans
New: Fancy jeans from Bottle Bird and free hair from Magika
Lludmila loves being a gen-you-wine fashion blogger because not only does she get skins and clothes named after her (no doubt to draw in that huge Undead readership - ha ha), but designers will just send her stuff! Recently she got this pair of lace print jeans from Bottle Bird and, y'know what? They cover her ass! Hurrah! Yes, they're low on the hip and a bit of tummy peeks out (something I fortunately do not have to worry about in SL), but I proclaim the lace print jeans to be both quite lovely and Unslutty!
Now, did we crash the sim yesterday at Magika when the free hair came out? Oh, look! There's Kathy in the gold version of the lovely and Unslutty lace print jeans! My my, aren't they popu-OMG! That poor woman! Half of her outfit seems to have mysteriously evaporated. Again, props to designers who can recognize what can be easily done in a virtual setting that might require a pail of eyelash glue in RL(tm) to achieve. But that look is just not for me.
Braving the av-storm at Magika to get the free sparkly hair.
Forecast: misty with a chance of sleaze.

More Hair!
One old hair and three new ones ...
Short styles ... and another old style below ...
Both Lludmila and Kathy love the SyDS hairs. There are some new ones there right now, plus some amusingly colored ones in the lucky boards for Halloween. My RL(tm) hair is never under any control, so I used to prefer the system hair, which was never flyaway or out of place. Now I'm getting off on the very casual looks of combined hard and flexi-prims. As much as I love my long hair, the short styles are now appealing to me. What I'm trying to achieve is a natural look, not perfection. These hairs are perfect.
Of course, SyDS also has some sillier hairs and I love them, too.

Hair So Pretty - I Could Just Cry!
I found some lovely hairs recently ...
I often see hair on the freebie blogs and wish they came in Lludmila shades (white to grey to platinum blonde), but I go get them anyway because Kathy could wear them, or some other shape I have. This one had this humongous black flower thing on it and I wondered if you could change that ... and found out you could change the hair color as well! Well, hot damn!
The same with this one: change the hair color and the cap color. Those are tears of joy! The color change leaves just a touch of contrasting color - nice!
And then, one of my favorite places, !SyDS!, had some new hair (also dark) in the lucky boards. I decided I loved this short cut after I tried the dark, so I bought the "milk" shade. There is also a new hair with a tiny pigtail.
Up-do with enormous flower from Waka & Yuki no longer free.
Cap and side ponytail also from Waka & Yuki.
Lludmila loves a cute short cut.

Analog Dog Free Hair
There's new hair in the balls on the beach at Analog Dog. And, of course, the color-change HUD can come in handy if you remember to make a copy. Kathy prefers the darker hair (although she started as a strawberry blonde) so it's easy to use the monochrome hud to get the precise darkness she likes.
Also note how nice the face-friendly lighting is on her skin. Unfortunately, it doesn't do much for the landscape. You have to decide what's more important to you. Or else just remember to turn it back on after altering the environmental light when informed that the scenery looks better at "midnight."

Always please to be remembering to change the name of the hair
so you know which one you made darker.
All this makes the typist wish she hadn't started life as a blonde because dark hair is soooo ... mysterious annnnnd ... mysterious. It's ... dark. I don't know. Now my Real Life hair is some dull brown color and the grey hardly shows up at all. If only it were nice and dark and ... and mysterious, the grey would show up better and I wouldn't have these "What grey hair? You don't have grey hair!" conversations with my husband. The reason little Lludmila has white/grey hair was that I originally tried to represent myself, but couldn't get the system hair to portray the correct salting of my dull, brown hair color. In frustration, I just greyed the whole head and now I have to create a different av (say, "Kathy" above) to use hair of another color.

The White Armory

Lludmila did not believe the group gift from The White Armory, so she had to go look for herself. It is every bit as beautiful as its hyperbolic name (Soul Eternal) and comes with tintable pasties, in case it's cut too low for some, which appeals to Lludmila's sense of propriety. The hair, Quaint - White Queen from !SyDS! is a lovely style, but Lludmila didn't care for the blue cast to it - which is a shame because it flows so nicely. The Quaint - Red Queen has the same blue - not sure why that is. The blue doesn't seem as noticeable with this dress. It looks like it's picking up some of the blue-grey color near the hem. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

The Fann's Touch dress, one of three cheapies from Phoenix Rising, provided an opportunity to show off more GaNKeD innovations with this Goldblooded in Iced Onyx set. The skirt to the dress has black feathers cut on the diagonal. The silvery bodice is detailed and understated for an elegant look.

Intentions was not Lludmila's favorite of the three cheapies - she didn't quite understand the white lacy bra thing that showed, but it was on another layer and could be left off. The petticoat is a puffball of white feathers (I'll not share the handstand shot because that would be slutty) that shows better with movement - which I caught just a smidge of here. This also exposed the fact that Lludmila sneaks about shoeless - but the toenails on the new Absentia zombie/undead skin are very nice!

Lludmila loves the contrast of the white brocade on the bodice and the black of the Edo's Onjah dress. It comes with a more slender skirt option, but Lludmila loves poofy! The more slender skirt shows off her "back shelf" too well, which is fine in pants, but the prim skirts don't work as well with it. Lludmila can adjust her posterior for such things, but, she loves the poofy.
Short hair worn with the Fann's Touch dress is Kissy, Kissy from Tiny Bird.
The updo is Adena from Amacci - nice and messy. All colors have been available for this free hair since May.
The long mermaid tresses came from the late, great Hairy Situations that closed its doors in June.

Formally Undead

This is one of my favorite dresses. I like the layers and the texture. It and the next dress are both from Marinoco Fashions which made another freebie I just love, that looks like that Bohemian red glass. They have been very generous and make some lovely dresses. This one is called Green Brigita. The Cordelia hair was a freebie from Vanity Hair in the pink color and I decided I liked it well enough to buy the white.

This richly bottle green dress (also from Marinoco) was called Forever Christmas, but you can wear this green any old time and it goes well with my greenish skin. Because I am so short, you can't see my shoes, which I am not even wearing. Heh! The dress might not look so long on someone of more average height, but at 4'8" it sinks below floor level. I'm in my photo box here, hovering in midair over a posing stand, so you can't tell.

Tee hee! I love some of the quirkier clothes from Kuri Style, who is also very very generous. New outfits often have a cheapie in one of the colors. Not all the outfits are Asian, but this one has a definite kimono look to it and is called, appropriate, Kimono Dress. The Baby Monkey pink and tan Gaby flats went with it nicely. The flats came with a cute handbag, but that's just one more thing to carry. Baby Monkey showers gifts on its group members. I was sad to have to leave the group, but you're only allowed 25 groups!
The hair is from the group lucky board at SyDS. The board is on a three minute timer, so it's worth hanging around for some lovely and then some amusingly oddball hairstyles. You do have to be a member of the group, though. This hair is called Opera Without Music.

The Discreet Charm of the Undead

Purple is my favorite color. I was fortunate to find this waltz-length dress in the Champagne hunt at Bliss Couture. On top of that, it also went with some of that great GaNKed clunky jewelry and the shoes I can barely see now. Those darn little bottles were the dickens to find! I was aiming for this dress, though, so all is well in My Little Virtual World (tm).

This outfit was put together from several sources. I love vintage stuff! I was still wearing a bathing suit from the 1950s during the 70s - but that's because I come from a long line of tightwads and in Real Life I have absolutely no fashion sense. Well, let's just say that I never found a "look" and stuck with it.
The wonderful houndstooth dress is from Chantkare. It's called Baskerville. Ha ha. Get it? Houndstooth. The hat and the hair are Timeless Glamour by Clawtooth. Hey, I've got a theme going here! I think it was on sale. I love the Clawtooth hairs ... but can't afford them.* Someone at the Info International Reference desk was wearing these Oxfords and I loved them! She very kindly told me that they came from Bettie's Vintage Clothing and Footwear and I went straight over and, after fretting there for minutes, paid full price for them. [Faints.] Umm, the black pearls are from somewhere.
*i.e. I'm too cheap to pay full price.
