Annthrasite was looking for some fancy heels in royal blue to go with a gown she recently bought and it was just her luck that LockHearts' Around the Grid Hunt prize (1L) was just that! Imagine her surprise to find that they also went with that dress from the July Scavenger Hunt at Absolutely Smitten!

While at LockHearts, Annthrasite pondered the hint about being patriotic. Yeah, well, she thought, patriotic where? As if any one country has the copyright on patriotism! Who ever says, "We're Number Two! We're Number Two!"? What with the stars and bars/stripes, this dress can do double duty ... without the shoes throwing up [nudge-nudge, wink-wink].

Cal obliges me yet again. What he won't do for me!

Hatter 'n Hell provides us with a selection of hats for Passepartout: a bowler, matador's hat (very handy if you have that traje de luces somewhere in your inventory), and a turban.

Antiques Grid Show at Rag Dollz

Rag Dollz has a great prizes for men and women in that Antiques Grid Show hunt. Prizes are 10L, but seem to be really worth it! We might have to look into the whole hunt (there goes Lludmila's inventory again!).
While there, hit all the Midnight Mania boards and the Rag Dollz Island Sun & Fun Hunt looks like great fun, too!

Snooze and Lose

Ho Wear is back from the July 4th vacation with a new 25L bargain each day. This gown is available in 8 colors today only. But something new is bound to be there tomorrow!

I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but there is no gap between the av and the mesh dress. We often have trouble with that, but no problem here. The breasts nestle into the top ruffle. But in case yours doesn't fit, a body shape is also included.

I'm Not Complaining

In a previous post I mentioned that Isis Boutique can stop handing out free (or incredibly cheap) ballet shoes now. That only means Lludmila has enough of them. Maybe. These pink slippers with the pink legwarmers are from the Spring Hunt. They're brilliant - full stop. Thanks, Isis Boutique. Oh, and Lludmila loved the white ones with the little wings! Very cute! Keeping those, too.

In the men's department, the Daytime Madness board has some black jeans and various patriotic themed muscle shirts. These are no copy but transferable so you can hand them over to your favorite guy ... but judging by how good this looks on Annthrasite, Cal will probably have to go get his own.

Kathy was green with envy (which is usually Lludmila's shade) over Annthrasite's Canada Day themed goodies that she went right out and did the O Canada Hunt. In this way madness lies. Mad, I tell you, mad, mad, maaaad!

We can't possibly post everything. [See note re: "madness" above.] What happens, as I'm sure you all know, is that you go on "a" hunt, and you discover shops are running more than one hunt. Pretty soon it's a challenge to pick everything up,  you know, while you're there. So we can only show a few of our favorites.

Then you hit Isis, that usually has a dozen hunts going all at once. Now, there was a time that Lludmila was searching for some decent ballet shoes to go with the ballet animations and she was too cheap to buy the gorgeous ones at Slink (even with the group discount). Then she picked some up in a hunt at Isis. Lemme tell you, Isis, you can quit now.

[I returned to the post after feeding the cats only to find what looked like more than half the post missing, but it turns out that, in her hurry to get fed, my cat must have stood on the enter button too long. Well, phew.]

I'm going to let you in on a little secret that will probably get me drummed out of the Borderline Fashionista Sisterhood. I hate wedges. I always have. I think they look stupid. I wouldn't be caught dead in them in RL. However, the ones in the photo below I might consider being caught in slightly ill, maybe tonsillitis or a really bad hangnail. Lludmila might need a pair and I bet Annthrasite will consider the disadvantages of being green.

Oh BOY, Canada!

It's too late to show your colors for Canada Day this year, but it couldn't hurt to prepare for the next! These shoes are free in the O Canada themed hunt at Lindy's. Look for the teeny Canadian flag! In the meantime, they'll go with any red or red/white outfit!

Also, Lindy's is preparing to move, so be sure to collect the new slurl.

Annthrasite got these amazing boots at Ho Wear that were available at an amazing bargain for one day only. As of today, there are some stilettos for 25L, but these really amazing sales are only available for one day at a time. This means Annthrasite has to log on every day and drop in to check what's up that's also amazing. Or she could just check the blog ...
The boots are still available, but they, and their USA counterpart, now cost 125L. At least you can wear the USA boots on Thursday.
